Maths is a specialism of Ideas4learning. We have both taught maths in a number of contexts. Barbara has been involved in a number of national professional development programmes in different roles, including the more recent Shaping Success initiative, where she wrote and delivered webinars as well as provided quality assurance and support to other writers. She has also been the professional development lead for Maths in the South East/London delivering the Maths Pipeline programmes and Maths Enhancement Programme. As part of the Enhancement Programme, Barbara wrote ‘Unlocking Maths‘ a guide for teachers in a secure environment.

- ICT Skills for life, developing interactive maths resources. L&WI.
Research
- How maths and English is embedded in vocational programmes. Writing interview schedules, interviewing and holding focus groups. Writing case studies and a report with recommendations.
